The Agricultural Technological High School "Mihail Kogălniceanu" is an educational institution offering training in agriculture with 18 classrooms. Here we aim to develop and develop pupils' personality, promote value education, stimulate young people's creativity and entrepreneurship, ensuring a solid training based on general culture knowledge and professional skills training, enabling graduates to pursue a profession, business, continuing education in higher education. Through its human and material resources, our school meets the requirements to meet the personal development needs of young people and adults in the occupational area, ensuring standardization training and adaptability to current social conditions. Practically speaking, our school institution is committed to developing the potential and abilities of its pupils in the spirit of the requirements of the competitive economy of the third millennium. At this time, around 360 students from 1 town and 6 villages are learning at the Agricultural Technological High School "Mihail Kogălniceanu". Being an agricultural high school there are some fields to work on and an educational farm so the students can learn by doing. To design the future you have consider the past. Although we organize many activities and we run different projects we need to point out that our students come from disadvantaged environments and the abandon rate is still high. During “Mobile applications to ease learning for students” project we observed a sensitive increase of students` motivation in continuing and finishing the school so we are really confident that we will succeed to shrink the abandon rate among the rural students. We think that finding a way to do the lessons more attractive, reducing digital addiction with cultural and educational activities at schools, increasing the effective and beneficial usage of technology will help us reach this goal among the activities. Our school believes that global problems that are feared to be realized can only be solved with global cooperation. Some of these problems are water scarcity, global warming, environmental degradation, extinction of fish species and the loss of ecosystems. We care that our students gain experience by doing projects on these issues. With these projects, environmental knowledge and communication skills of our students will improve.
